Job Description
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and coach the sales team. Conduct regular performance evaluations, set individual and team KPIs, and provide feedback.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Assist the Sales Manager in creating and executing business development plans. Identify new market opportunities, analyze competitor activities, and adjust strategies to maximize market share. [
- Key Account Management: Manage high-value relationships with B2B clients, including real estate developers, contractors, interior designers, and furniture manufacturers
- Contract & Price Negotiation: Oversee the bidding and contract process for bulk deals (e.g., wood panels, raw materials, or large-scale architectural joinery projects).
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with the design, production, and operations teams to ensure custom woodwork or material orders meet client specifications and delivery deadlines.
Requirements
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 6-10+ years in B2B sales within the wood, timber, furniture, or construction materials industry (e.g., MDF, Plywood, HPL-Furniture outfit).
- Product Knowledge: Deep understanding of wood species, derived products, and custom joinery/interior solutions.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, motivate, and direct a sales force to consistently hit targets.
- Communication & Negotiation: Superior presentation and negotiation skills for dealing with suppliers, contractors, and corporate clients.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
