Job Description

• Lead the end-to-end procurement process for electrical materials, equipment, and services to support construction projects.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of electrical supplies.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and compliance with project specifications.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure optimal value and mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with engineering, project management, and site teams to forecast material requirements and resolve technical queries.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage relationships, and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or compliance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate procurement documentation, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier records.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement cycle.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier development initiatives.
• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and emerging technologies in electrical systems and procurement best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in electrical procurement within the engineering or construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing procurement processes for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and suppliers.
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
