We are seeking an experienced Senior Payable Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry. The role focuses on managing accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will have solid technical accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with construction projects, and a deep understanding of local financial practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of proven experience as an Payable Accountant, preferably in the construction sector.
• Solid experience dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, and construction-related contracts.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian accounting standards, VAT, and withholding tax regulations.
• Experience working with ERP/accounting systems.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
