Role Description
AWstreams is seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven SEO Specialist to join its team in Cairo, Egypt. This role focuses on executing and optimising SEO strategies across multiple accounts while adapting to the evolving landscape of AI-driven search (AIO).
You will be responsible for improving search visibility, enhancing content performance, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in a fast-paced agency environment.
Responsibilities
• Execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO across multiple accounts
• Optimise content for search engines and AI-driven discovery (AIO)
• Conduct keyword, search intent, and conversational query research
• Improve visibility using schema markup, entities, and semantic SEO
• Monitor and analyse rankings, traffic, and AI search performance
• Perform technical audits and coordinate fixes with development teams
• Support content teams with SEO and AIO best practices
• Develop and execute link-building strategies
• Analyse competitors and identify growth opportunities
• Optimise landing pages and conversion paths
• Track tasks and performance through internal systems
• Flag and escalate any performance issues or technical blockers
Requirements
• 2–4 years of experience in SEO or digital marketing
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Good understanding of AI-driven search (AIO), semantic SEO, and structured data
• Hands-on experience with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console)
• Solid knowledge of keyword research, link building, and content optimization
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in agency environments or managing multiple accounts
• Familiarity with advanced SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog)
• Understanding of conversion rate optimization(CRO) principles
• Experience with content strategy or editorial planning
• Basic knowledge of UX/UI principles for SEO
