Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Sourcing Specialist – Retail is responsible for identifying, attracting, and engaging qualified candidates to support the organization’s retail recruitment needs. The role focuses on proactive sourcing, talent pipeline development, and ensuring a continuous flow of high-quality candidates for retail stores and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively source retail talent through various channels, including social media platforms, job boards, community outreach initiatives, referrals, and LinkedIn.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen talent pipelines to support ongoing and high-volume retail hiring requirements.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and ensure timely fulfillment of store and warehouse vacancies.
- Conduct market mapping and talent research to identify potential candidate pools and sourcing opportunities.
- Engage and nurture passive candidates to create a sustainable talent network for future hiring needs.
- Track sourcing activities, candidate pipelines, and recruitment metrics to measure sourcing effectiveness.
- Ensure all sourcing and recruitment activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable labor regulations.
- Support employer branding initiatives to enhance the company’s visibility and attractiveness within the retail talent market.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or talent acquisition, preferably within retail or high-volume hiring environments.
- Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques, social media recruiting, and candidate engagement strategies.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and recruitment management systems.
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of labor laws and recruitment best practices.
