About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Estimation Manager to lead our estimating function and support the successful delivery of construction and contracting projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost estimation activities, analyzing project requirements, preparing competitive bids, and ensuring the accuracy and profitability of project proposals.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the estimation team in preparing accurate and competitive project cost estimates.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Analyze project scope, risks, and opportunities to develop reliable cost projections.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project management, and business development teams during the bidding process.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing strategies.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Develop and maintain estimation databases, cost benchmarks, and historical records.
• Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations, and client meetings when required.
• Monitor market trends, material costs, labor rates, and industry developments.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and industry standards.
• Support management in bid/no-bid decisions and project feasibility assessments.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience in infrastructure, landscaping, civil works, building construction, or contracting projects.
• Excellent knowledge of cost estimating principles, quantity surveying, and tendering procedures.
• Proficiency in estimation software, Microsoft Excel, and project management tools.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
