Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Technical Office Engineer, based in El ‘Alamein. The role involves the preparation and review of shop drawings, managing bill of quantities (BOQ), coordinating technical queries, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution while addressing technical challenges and optimizing resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Shop Drawings with strong attention to detail.
• Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and perform Quantity Surveying to support cost estimation and resource planning.
• Review technical specifications and ensure compliance with project requirements and engineering standards.
• Coordinate effectively with site engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support site activities by resolving technical issues and providing engineering solutions when needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in Technical Office and Site Work.
• Strong experience in Shop Drawings, BOQ, and Quantity Surveying.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering practices, construction standards, and materials.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering basics and ability to interpret related drawings is an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ASD, and Microsoft Office, as well as quantity surveying tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
