Role Description

The Demand Planning Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The individual will be responsible for managing and forecasting demand across the company’s products, analyzing sales trends, and ensuring inventory levels align with market needs. Other responsibilities include collaborating with supply chain and sales teams to optimize planning processes, analyzing customer data, and ensuring timely product availability to meet market demands while avoiding overproduction or understocking.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and Planning capabilities to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels
• Proficiency in Communication to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales and supply chain
• Knowledge of Finance to manage budgets, analyze costs, and contribute to financial planning
• Customer Service orientation to address client needs and optimize supply chain strategies for satisfaction
• Proficiency in relevant tools such as demand planning software, spreadsheets, and business analytics tools
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus
