Company Description zworld is a growing organization in the construction and fit-out sector, delivering end-to-end solutions for commercial and residential projects. The company focuses on high-quality execution, timely delivery, and close collaboration with clients, consultants, and contractors. zworld emphasizes ethical business practices, transparent communication, and long-term partnerships in the Egyptian market and beyond.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt for a Business Development Manager – Construction (Fit-Out). The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities in the fit-out and interior construction market, including commercial, corporate, retail, and hospitality projects. Responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, building and maintaining a strong pipeline, and developing relationships with clients, consultants, architects, and developers. The role involves preparing and delivering proposals and presentations, coordinating with estimation, design, and project teams to respond to bids, and negotiating contracts in alignment with company policies. The Business Development Manager will also analyze market trends, monitor competitor activity, contribute to pricing and positioning strategies, and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to management.
Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within construction, interiors, or fit-out projects.
  • Strong understanding of the local construction and fit-out market in Cairo/Egypt, including key stakeholders and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and grow client relationships and strategic partnerships.
  • Solid negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with experience preparing proposals and responding to tenders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and basic reporting/forecasting techniques.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial for local stakeholder engagement.
  • Willingness to travel within Cairo and occasionally to other regions for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
