يهدف برنامج منحة مؤسسة سعيد للمنح الدراسية إلى تعزيز التعليم والتطوير في الشرق الأوسط . وذلك من خلال توفير الفرص التعليمية والتدريبية للأفراد المتميزين الذين يظهرون القدرة على أن يصبحوا قادة ومبدعين للتغيير.
حيث تسهم منح مؤسسة سعيد في التطوير المهني وتمكين الأفراد من تحقيق التأثير في مجالاتهم المهنية وتحقيق فوائد للآخرين في بلدانهم الأصلية.
لمحة عن المنح المقدمة بواسطة مؤسسة سعيد للتنمية
كل عام ، تقدم مؤسسة سعيد حوالي ثلاثين منحة دراسات عليا لمواطنين من سوريا والأردن ولبنان وفلسطين.
يتم تمويل هذه المنح الدراسية بالكامل ويتم تقديمها في المقام الأول لبرامج الدراسات العليا لمدة عام في المملكة المتحدة.
في ظروف استثنائية قد يكون من الممكن النظر في المتقدمين الحاصلين على قبول في برامج دراسية تمتد لمدة عامين.
تقدم المؤسسة أيضًا منحة دراسية واحدة أو منحتين دكتوراه / DPhil سنويًا في جامعة أكسفورد وجامعة كامبريدج فقط.
لمحة عن مؤسسة سعيد للتنمية
تقدم مؤسسة سعيد منحًا تعليمية وفرصًا تدريبية منذ عام 1984.
يهدف البرنامج إلى تمكين الناس من خلال الفرص التعليمية وتشجيع تنمية الشرق الأوسط.

معايير الأهلية في منحة مؤسسة سعيد
لكي يتم النظر في الحصول على منحة مؤسسة سعيد ، يجب على جميع المرشحين استيفاء معايير الأهلية التالية:
- يحملون الجنسية السورية أو الأردنية أو اللبنانية أو الفلسطينية ويجب أن يظلوا دائمين في أحد هذه البلدان.
ملاحظة : ستنظر المؤسسة في أن الطلبة السوريين يمكن أن يكونو مقيمين في مكان آخر بسبب الظروف الحالية في البلد.
- حاصل على درجة البكالوريوس أي ما يعادل 2.1 درجة المملكة المتحدة أو أعلى. سيتم النظر في المرشحين الذين هم في السنة الأخيرة من دراستهم الجامعية.
- لديهم عمل أو خبرة طوعية ذات صلة بمجال دراستهم ومسار وظيفي واضح عند الانتهاء من دراستهم والعودة إلى بلدهم أو منطقتهم الأصلية.
- إظهار إمكانات القيادة في المجال أو القطاع الذي اختاروه.
- أن تكون قد تقدمت بطلب للحصول على برنامج دراسي مؤهل في إحدى الجامعات الشريكة للمؤسسة (أو لها اختصاص قانوني لأسباب استثنائية للتقدم إلى جامعة غير شريكة).
- تلبية متطلبات اللغة الإنجليزية للمؤسسة (IELTS 6.0 بشكل عام مع 6.0 على الأقل في كل فرقة).
- بعض الجامعات لديها متطلبات أعلى لذلك من المتوقع أن يفي المرشحون بهذه المتطلبات أيضًا.

- تقدم مؤسسة سعيد للتنمية في المقام الأول المنح الدراسية للدراسات العليا التي تمتد لسنة واحدة وتدرس في إحدى جامعات المملكة المتحدة .
- في ظروف استثنائية ، قد يكون من الممكن النظر في المرشحين لدورات لمدة عامين أو برامج التعلم عن بعد.
- إذا كنت تتقدم بطلب للحصول على دورة لمدة عامين أو برنامج للتعلم عن بعد ، يجب عليك تقديم شرح مفصل لاختيارك في نموذج الطلب الخاص بك. عدم القيام بذلك قد يعني عدم النظر في طلب المنحة الخاص بك.
- ستنظر المؤسسة أيضًا في طلبات الدكتوراه ولكن فقط في جامعتي أكسفورد وكامبردج.

لن يتم النظر في طلبات الدراسة في جامعات خارج المملكة المتحدة أو لبرامج البكالوريوس.

- تمنح منح مؤسسة سعيد على أساس الجدارة ويتم النظر بعناية في الطلبات من قبل مشرفين وأمناء المؤسسة والمقيمين الخارجيين.
- تعتمد قرارت اللجنة بشكل كبير على التميز الأكاديمي للمرشح ، وفائدة لبلدهم الأصلي ، وإمكاناتهم القيادية ، وأهدافهم
- المهنية المستقبلية وقدرتهم العملية على الاستفادة من المعرفة التي سيتم اكتسابها في المملكة المتحدة عند عودتهم إلى الشرق .
كيفية التقدم عبر الإنترنت للحصول على منحة مؤسسة سعيد

ملء استمارة منحة مؤسسة سعيد
يتكون نموذج الطلب من عدة أقسام بما في ذلك ؛
1- بيان شخصي
يطلب من المرشحين كتابة بيان شخصي لا يزيد عن 500 كلمة. في هذا البيان ستكون فرصتك لإخبار إدراة المنحة بقصتك بطريقتك الخاصة .
يجب أن يكون السرد شامل ويجب أن يشمل اهتماماتك العامة وشغفك ، ومصدر إلهامك ولماذا تقدمت بطلب للحصول على منحة دراسية.
يجب أن يكون بيانك الشخصي من كتابتك بالكامل ولا يجب أن تتلقى أي مساعدة أو تحرير خارجي.
سيُطلب منك في طلب التقديم تأكيد أن المعلومات التي تم إدخالها هي نتاجك الخاص وأنه لم يتم تلقي أية مساعدة خارجية.
2- الأسئلة الموجودة في طلب التقديم
يطلب من المرشحين سلسلة من الأسئلة بناءً على معايير الأهلية لدينا. ويشمل ذلك القيادة والعمل والخبرة التطوعية ، وخيارات الدورة التدريبية وخطة حياتك المهنية.
تحتوي معظم الأسئلة على حد أقصى لعدد الكلمات لا يزيد عن 350 كلمة ، لذا قد ترغب في إعداد إجاباتك قبل إكمال طلبك.
يرجى قراءة الأسئلة بعناية والتأكد من إجابتك عليها بأكبر قدر ممكن من التفاصيل ضمن حدود الكلمات.
3- الوثائق المطلوبة
بالإضافة إلى الإجابة على جميع الأسئلة ، يجب على المرشحين التأكد من قيامهم بتحميل جميع الوثائق المطلوبة بما في ذلك ثلاثة مراجع لطلب رسالة التوصية ، ونسخ من شهادة البكالوريوس وبيان الدرجات باللغة الإنجليزية وجواز سفر ساري المفعول أو الهوية الوطنية.

Saïd Foundation Scholarships
The Saïd Foundation Scholarships Programme
aims to promote education and development in the Middle East by providing educational and training opportunities to outstanding individuals who demonstrate the potential to become leaders and innovators of change.
Our scholarships help career development and enable individuals to achieve impact in their professional fields and bring benefits to others in their countries of origin.
Each year, we offer around thirty postgraduate scholarships to nationals from Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.
Our scholarships are fully funded and are primarily offered for one year postgraduate courses based in the UK. In exceptional circumstances it may be possible to consider candidates for two year courses.
The Foundation also offers one or two PhD/DPhil scholarships a year at the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge only.
The Saïd Foundation has offered educational scholarships and training opportunities since 1984.
The programme aims to empower people through educational opportunities and to encourage the development of the Middle East.
It is targeted towards outstanding individuals who demonstrate leadership potential and a driver of change within our target countries of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Palestine.
In order to be considered for a Saïd Foundation Scholarship all candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Hold Syrian, Jordanian, Lebanese or Palestinian nationality and must permanently reside in one of these countries.
The Foundation will consider Syrians residing elsewhere due to current circumstances in that country.
Hold an undergraduate degree that is equivalent to a UK 2.1 degree or higher.
Candidates who are in their final year of their undergraduate degree will also be considered.
Have work and/or voluntary experience that is relevant to their field of study and a clear career path on completion of their studies and return to their home country or region.
Demonstrate leadership potential in their chosen field or sector.
Have applied for an eligible course at a Foundation partner university (or have legitimate exceptional reasons for applying for a non-partner university).
Meet the Foundation’s English language requirements (IELTS of 6.0 overall with at least 6.0 in each band). Some universities have higher requirements so candidates are expected to meet these requirements too.

Eligibility criteria for PhD/DPhil Programmes:
In addition to the above criteria, candidates for PhD/DPhil programmes must also meet the following:
Apply for a PhD or DPhil course at either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge only.
Hold an existing teaching post at a university in their home country and can clearly demonstrate the need for the proposed research in their home country.
Upload a supporting statement from your proposed university supervisor or other academic/professional expert which supports the relevance of the research topic and need for your studies at the PhD level in your home country.
What courses are considered?
We primarily offer scholarships for one year postgraduate courses in the UK. In exceptional circumstances it may be possible to consider candidates for two year courses or distance learning programmes.
If you are applying for a two year course or a distance learning programme you must provide a detailed explanation of your choice in your application form.
Failure to do so may mean your scholarship application will not be considered.

There are no restrictions on academic subjects but priority will be given to candidates who can demonstrate that their subject will enable them to contribute to the development of their home country.
Candidates must apply to one or more of the Foundation’s partner universities.
We may consider an application for study at a non-partner university but only if the candidate’s proposed course is not offered by a partner.
If you have selected a non-university partner you must explain why in your application form or you may not be considered for a scholarship.
We will not consider applications for study at universities outside the UK or for undergraduate programmes.
Selection criteria
Saïd Foundation Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and applications are carefully considered by officers and Trustees of the Foundation and external assessors.
Our decisions are based on the candidate’s academic excellence, the usefulness of the subject to their home country, their leadership potential, their future career goals and their practical ability to make use of the knowledge to be gained in the UK on their return to the Middle East.

Online application system
Candidates apply for a Saïd Foundation Scholarship via our online application form.
The form will work with most internet browsers including Google Chrome and Internet Explorer.
It will automatically save as you progress through the application so you can save and return to your application at any time before the deadline.
However, once you have submitted your application you will not be able to add any additional information so it is important that you check your answers carefully.
Candidates can only submit one application.
If you accidentally withdraw your application, please note that it will not be possible to reinstate it.
Completing the application form
The application form comprises of several sections including;
A personal statement
Candidates are asked to write a personal statement of no more than 500 words.
This is your chance to tell us your story in your own voice.
It should be an overarching narrative for your application and should include your general interests and passions, your inspirations and why you have applied for a scholarship.
Your personal statement should be entirely your own work and you should not receive any external assistance or editing.
In the application you will be asked to confirm that the entered information is your own work and that not external help was received.
Application questions
Candidates are asked a series of questions based on our eligibility criteria. This includes leadership, work and voluntary experience, your course choices and your career plan.
Most questions have a word limit of no more than 350 words so you may wish to prepare your answers before completing your application.
Please read the questions carefully and ensuring you answer them with as much detail as you can within the word limits.
Supporting documents
As well as answering all of the questions, candidates must ensure they upload all of the required documents including three references, copies of transcripts and a valid passport or national ID.
Previous applications
If you have previously applied for a Saïd Foundation Scholarship but was not successful, you can re-apply again if you meet all of the eligibility criteria. You will need to start a brand new application and submit with all the required documentation.
