Job Description

• Assist the CFO in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure fiscal accountability and alignment with hospital goals.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and provide recommendations to senior leadership for corrective actions.
• Contribute to long- and short-range financial planning, capital budgeting, and investment decisions.
  Deputize for the CFO in executive meetings, board presentations, and interactions with stakeholders (e.g., auditors, regulators, financial partners).
• Collaborate with department heads on cost reduction initiatives, productivity improvements, and efficiency savings plans.
• Oversee financial teams, including accounting, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable, while fostering staff development and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.
• 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in a hospital or health system (as Finance Manager , or Assistant CFO).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across clinical and administrative teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
