Job Description

• Oversee and manage all mechanical site activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of mechanical works.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related electromechanical components.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide site execution.
• Monitor site progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, and address any technical or logistical issues that arise.
• Ensure all mechanical works adhere to local regulations, industry standards, and company quality requirements.
• Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify workmanship and material compliance.
• Facilitate effective communication between site teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to resolve challenges and maintain workflow.
• Support procurement activities by verifying material submittals and coordinating timely delivery to site.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety, ensuring all site personnel adhere to health and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in mechanical site engineering within electromechanical or construction projects.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale mechanical installations for governmental, commercial, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, and low current systems.
• Excellent understanding of project lifecycle processes from design through commissioning.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills at a mid-management level.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
