Job Description

• Conduct regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment within automotive service centers.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Develop and execute maintenance schedules for machinery, tools, and workshop infrastructure.
• Coordinate with service teams to prioritize and address urgent maintenance issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements in all maintenance operations.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to source quality spare parts and maintenance materials.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and maintenance staff.
• Participate in root cause analysis for recurring mechanical issues and recommend process improvements.
• Support the implementation of new technologies and upgrades in mechanical systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3 to 7 years of proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably within the automotive or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards in maintenance operations.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software and MS Office applications.
• Willingness to work on-site and respond to emergency maintenance needs as required.
