Job Description

• Source, evaluate, and select local suppliers for automotive parts and materials in alignment with company quality and cost standards.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with local vendors to ensure optimal value and timely supply.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers to secure reliable and high-quality supply chains.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Analyze market trends and local sourcing opportunities to identify cost-saving initiatives and supply chain improvements.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
• Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, or delays in collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in local purchasing or procurement within the automotive or manufacturing sector.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Solid understanding of local supplier markets and sourcing strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to analyze data, assess supplier performance, and drive process improvements.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
