Job Description

We are seeking a Senior System Analyst who will also act as a Product Owner for one of our digital products. This role is primarily focused on system analysis, system design, and professional requirements documentation, including System Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Business / Product Requirements Documents (BRD/PRD).

In parallel, the role will carry select Product Owner responsibilities, ensuring the assigned digital product delivers business value while remaining technically sound, scalable, and well-documented. The successful candidate will serve as a key bridge between business, product, and engineering, translating product vision and business needs into clear, structured, and UML-driven system specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

System Analysis & Design (Primary Focus)

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, and validation for digital systems and products.
• Produce and maintain high-quality SRS, BRD, and PRD in accordance with industry standards.
• Translate business and product needs into clear, testable functional and non-functional system requirements.
• Design and document system behavior using UML (use case, sequence, activity, and component diagrams) and BPMN.
• Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and system improvement assessments.
• Ensure requirements traceability across the SDLC and alignment with architecture, integration, and security standards.

Product Owner Responsibilities 

• Act as Product Owner for an assigned digital product, owning feature definition and requirement clarity.
• Define and prioritize product features, epics, and user stories based on business value and system constraints.
• Maintain and refine the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and development teams.
• Define acceptance criteria and support UAT to ensure product and system requirements are met.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Senior System Analyst or Business Analyst, with demonstrated responsibility for end-to-end requirements management
• Proven experience supporting or acting as a Product Owner for a digital product or system.

System Analysis & Documentation Expertise

• Advanced expertise in producing professional System Requirements Specifications (SRS) aligned with industry and IEEE standards
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Product Requirements Documents (PRD)
• Ability to translate business and product needs into clear, structured, testable functional and non-functional requirements
• Strong command of requirements traceability, version control, and change management

System Design & Modeling Skills

• Deep understanding of system analysis methodologies and SDLC frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
• Proven proficiency in UML and BPMN, including:
• Use Case Diagrams
• Sequence Diagrams
• Activity Diagrams
• Component / High-Level Architecture Diagrams
• Experience performing gap analysis, impact analysis, and system design assessments

Product Owner & Delivery Capabilities

• Practical experience defining product features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Ability to manage and prioritize a product backlog while considering system dependencies and technical constraints
• Experience supporting UAT planning and execution to validate system and product requirements

Technical & Integration Knowledge

• Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs (REST/JSON), and data exchange mechanisms
• Strong conceptual knowledge of database design, data models, and system data flows
• Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and engineers on integration and solution design

Tools & Collaboration

• Hands-on experience with requirements and product management tools (Azure DevOps).
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and presentation skills, with high attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management abilities
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple initiatives, and deliver under tight deadlines
