Job Description

1. Budget Planning & Preparation

Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments.

Coordinate with department heads to prepare operational and capital expenditure budgets.

Ensure alignment of budgets with company strategic objectives.

Consolidate and finalize the master budget for management approval.

2. Budget Control & Monitoring

Monitor actual performance versus budget and analyze variances.

Implement expenditure control measures to ensure budget compliance.

Develop financial dashboards and reports to track budget utilization.

Provide recommendations to optimize costs and improve financial performance.

3. Reporting & Financial Closing

Take full responsibility for monthly budget reporting and analysis.

Support monthly closing activities in coordination with the cost accounting team.

Prepare management reports highlighting financial performance and key risks.

Ensure timely submission of internal and external financial reports.

4. Variance Analysis & Business Support

Conduct proactive variance analysis and identify operational risks and opportunities.

Communicate financial insights clearly to operational and senior management teams.

Provide financial guidance to department managers for corrective actions.

Support decision-making through scenario analysis and forecasting.

5. Process Improvement & Systems

Develop and enhance budgeting policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Participate in ERP system implementation and optimization (especially CO module).

Drive automation and efficiency improvements within the budgeting function.

6. Audit & Compliance

Assist in preparing required documents for internal and external audits.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Support quarterly reviews and annual audit processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CMA is highly preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in budgeting, cost accounting, or financial planning.
• Experience in manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP CO or similar).
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
