Job Description
- Supervise and lead the sales team responsible for live broilers and by-products, ensuring achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize market penetration and revenue generation within the assigned territory.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new business opportunities and recommend actionable insights.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of products.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management review.
- Conduct training and mentoring sessions for sales staff to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a high standard of service and support.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to represent the company and expand the client base.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards throughout the sales process.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years and maximum of 7 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the poultry, agro-food, or related industries.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
- Strong understanding of live broilers and by-products market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in using ERP and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in an office-based environment and travel as required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
