The organization is committed to delivering high-quality, engaging social experiences and is actively enhancing localized operations and global branding.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Moderator role based in Cairo, Egypt, focused on the live streaming industry. The Content Moderator will review live streams, user-generated content, and user interactions to ensure compliance with platform policies, community guidelines, and local regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring real-time broadcasts, flagging and escalating violations, and taking appropriate actions such as warnings, restrictions, or content removal. The role involves documenting incidents, generating basic reports, and providing feedback to improve moderation rules and workflows. The Content Moderator will also collaborate with customer service, technical, and operations teams to support a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for users and anchors.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to assess live content quickly, identify risky behavior, and make consistent, policy-based decisions.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for reporting incidents, coordinating with internal teams, and providing clear feedback.
  • Customer service mindset to handle user inquiries, address concerns about moderation decisions, and maintain a user-centric approach.
  • Technical support and troubleshooting abilities to navigate moderation tools, reporting systems, and live streaming platforms efficiently.
  • Experience in training or knowledge sharing, such as helping onboard new moderators and contributing to process and guideline improvements.
  • Familiarity with live streaming or social media platforms and online safety standards.
  • Fluency in English, proficiency in Arabic and additional languages common in the MENA region is an advantage.
  • Ability to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by live streaming operations.
  • High attention to detail, resilience when exposed to sensitive content, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards.
