Responsibilities

• Analyze all suppliers and subcontractors in order to select the most suitable suppliers and subcontractors who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors on lead-time, cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors to meet objectives related to cost, delivery performance, schedule and quality
• Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analyses and supplier referencing study.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors on delivery schedule so as to ensure on-time deliveries of final product.
• Make the Purchase Order With the Suppliers.
• Make Comparison Sheets between our Company Budget and the Suppliers.
• Make the Material Submittal according to the Bill of quantity, specs and drawings.
• Review the tender documents to evaluate the scope of the project and provide recommendations to the direct manager accordingly.
• Read the contracts conditions carefully to take it into consideration when preparing subcontractors tender.
• Contact the suppliers, subcontractors and clients when needed to facilitate the tendering process and abide by the timeline.
• Prepare Procurement Plan in coordination with the planning department.
• Coordinate the contracting process with the Contract Department to ensure it is aligned with the clients’ and organization’s requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in procurement and tendering engineering.
• Bachelor degree in Civil or Architecture Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent Command of Arabic & English language skills.
