Job Description

– Lead the project estimation department and oversee the preparation of technical proposals.
– Perform structural design and analysis for steel structures using SAP software when required.
– Supervise and perform the preparation and review of structural designs, calculations, and detailed drawings for steel structures.
– Proficiency in structural design software and steel quantity survey such as SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Tekla, or equivalent.
– Verify and approve shop drawings to ensure accuracy and full compliance with project specifications.
– Provide technical guidance, reports, and engineering support throughout all project phases.
– Review and validate connection details, fabrication drawings, and installation methods for steel components.
– Support continuous improvement of design standards and execution processes.

Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 
– Residency in Alexandria.
– 3 to 5 years of proven experience in steel structures or related fields (e.g., pergolas, shading systems, lightweight structures).
– Proficiency in structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD, Tekla, or equivalent.
– Strong understanding of connection details, fabrication drawings, and site execution requirements.
– Excellent analytical skills in load assessment and steel section selection.
– Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
