Job Description
• Implement export sales plans and achieve sales targets within assigned markets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities across West and Central Africa.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors, importers, wholesalers, and key accounts.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities.
• Support market expansion initiatives and increase brand presence within the assigned territories.
• Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and business development plans.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in international exhibitions, trade fairs, and business development activities.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and effective management of customer accounts.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Export Sales.
• Previous experience in Food Manufacturing, FMCG, Processed Meat, Canned Food, Frozen Food, or Food Distribution industries is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in African markets, particularly West and/or Central Africa.
• Strong understanding of export procedures, international trade practices, and distributor management.
• Existing network of distributors, importers, and business contacts within the targeted African markets is a strong advantage.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• French language proficiency is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced international environment.
