What you’ll do:
Team noon has some of the fastest, smartest, and hardest-working people we’ve encountered. With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we’re driving major missions forward.
This role is for a key position within noon’s latest venture, noon Minutes, which aims to establish itself as the dominant Q-Commerce player in MENA. The Ops team is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of noon Minutes strategy across the region. The role requires the candidate to hold multiple responsibilities, ensure collaboration across functions, and oversee the end-to-end daily performance of a city/cluster of stores.
- Oversee daily operations across assigned dark stores, including receiving, picking, packing, dispatching, and order fulfillment.
- Monitor store KPIs such as fulfillment rate, picking time, order accuracy, cancellations, stock availability, shrinkage, and customer complaints.
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety standards, cleanliness, stock organization, and operational readiness.
- Support the planning and execution of new dark store launches, including layout setup, team readiness, inventory preparation, and post-launch stabilization.
- Manage, coach, and support store teams, including store managers, supervisors, pickers, packers, and receivers.
- Assist in workforce planning, shift scheduling, attendance tracking, onboarding, and team performance improvement.
- Ensure proper inventory control, stock rotation, replenishment, cycle counts, expiry control, and loss prevention.
- Identify operational issues, prepare action plans, and coordinate with supply chain, fleet, HR, IT, maintenance, and commercial teams to resolve them.
- Track operational performance and provide regular reports, updates, and improvement recommendations to management.
- Support the rollout of new processes, systems, and operational initiatives across stores.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related and competitive field
- 5+ years’ work experience in operations, e-commerce, q-commerce, warehousing, logistics, or dark store operations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good understanding of store operations, fulfillment, inventory, and KPIs.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
- Good knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, dashboards, and operational systems.
- Flexible to work across different locations, shifts, weekends, and peak periods when required.
