The Supply & Demand Planning Lead is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability across all Gourmet Egypt stores while maintaining efficient inventory levels and minimizing stock-outs, waste, and obsolescence. The role leads demand forecasting, supply planning, replenishment, seasonal readiness, and S&OP processes to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead demand forecasting and supply planning activities across all product categories.
Ensure product availability while optimizing inventory levels across stores and warehouses.
Manage replenishment cycles and inventory allocation to achieve service level targets.
Monitor and control obsolete stock, expiry management, and inventory wastage.
Develop annual and seasonal forecasts, including peak trading periods and seasonal locations.
Lead planning and inventory readiness for promotions, marketing campaigns, and special offers.
Manage ultra-fresh, fresh, and frozen category planning to balance availability and waste.
Analyze product performance and recommend actions on slow-moving and underperforming SKUs.
Facilitate the monthly S&OP process and ensure alignment between commercial and supply chain objectives.
Collaborate closely with Category Management, Marketing, Procurement, Operations, and Warehouse teams.
Lead, coach, and develop the planning team while monitoring departmental KPIs and performance.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, or a similar role within Retail and/or FMCG.
Food industry experience is mandatory.
Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
