Job Description
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations (GL, AP, AR, fixed assets).
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to management.
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Monitor budget vs. actuals and recommend corrective actions.
- Support strategic planning and long-term financial projections.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Handle statutory compliances: taxes, Insurance, etc.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Liaise with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization.
- Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and cash planning.
- Optimize receivables, payables, and inventory controls.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
- Drive automation and ERP/accounting system improvements.
- Provide financial support to business units and top management
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting – in Agriculture field is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting,
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis tools
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and stakeholder management
- High integrity and attention to detail
