Role Overview

Manage and control all project documentation — drawings, submittals, transmittals, and correspondence — ensuring every document is accurate, registered, traceable, and distributed on time and in line with project procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the project’s document control system, registers, and filing structure.
  • Register, log, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents, drawings, and transmittals.
  • Control revisions so only the latest approved copies are in circulation.
  • Process submittals and track review status with consultants and the client.
  • Manage RFIs, NCRs, and transmittal logs, and follow up on approvals.
  • Maintain the EDMS / document control software (Aconex, SharePoint, or equivalent).
  • Prepare handover dossiers, as-built documentation, and close-out records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Management, Business Administration, or relevant.
  • 3+ years of document control experience on construction projects.
  • Hands-on experience with EDMS software (Aconex, SharePoint, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of construction document workflows (submittals, transmittals, RFIs, drawing control).
  • Proficient in MS Office and PDF tools.
