Job Description
- Greet and assist customers in-store, providing detailed information about alteration and repair services.
- Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions or services.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Coordinate with tailors and alteration staff to ensure customer requests are fulfilled on time.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and efficiently.
- Upsell additional services and products to maximize sales opportunities.
- Track and manage inventory of supplies and finished garments.
- Prepare daily sales reports and assist with store opening and closing procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements
- 1-4 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work full-time, under a permanent contract, and on-site at one of our retail locations.
- Energetic, positive attitude with a passion for helping customers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
