Role Description The Parcel Keeper is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, responsible for managing and safeguarding jewelry parcels within the store or storage area. This role includes receiving parcels, verifying quantities and item details, labeling and organizing items, and recording movements in logs or inventory systems. The Parcel Keeper ensures that all parcels are stored securely, easily traceable, and handled according to company procedures and safety standards. Daily tasks include counting and reconciling items, preparing parcels for internal transfers or customer orders, and promptly reporting discrepancies, damages, or missing items. The role also involves coordinating with sales, inventory, and management teams to support smooth store operations and timely access to merchandise.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to maintain orderly storage areas and follow structured procedures.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in counting, labeling, and recording parcel information, with basic numeracy and record-keeping abilities.
• Integrity and reliability in handling valuable items, with a strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
• Basic computer or point-of-sale system familiarity, and willingness to learn inventory or tracking tools used by the company.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues in sales, inventory, and management.
• Ability to stand, move, and handle parcels safely throughout the shift, following safety and security guidelines.
• Previous experience in retail, warehouse, inventory control, or a similar role is an advantage, especially in jewelry or luxury goods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory, logistics, or retail operations is a plus.
