scholarship market. We’re hiring a Senior Backend Developer to own

our Laravel APIs, AI evaluation pipelines, and payment infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

– Build & maintain Laravel (PHP 8.x) REST APIs powering our Next.js 14 frontend

– Integrate & optimize LLM pipelines (GPT-4o, OpenRouter) for Writing/Speaking evaluation

– Design PostgreSQL schemas, indexes & queries (pgvector a plus)

– Own Redis-backed Laravel Queues for AI evaluation workloads

– Build middleware patterns: CostGuard, Cache, Retry, CircuitBreaker, Metrics

– Integrate Stripe, PostHog, n8n, Sentry

– Debug production incidents end-to-end

– Contribute to CI/CD (GitLab Runner) and infrastructure decisions

Must-Have

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

– 4+ years production Laravel (PHP 8.x)

– Strong PostgreSQL: schema design, indexing, query optimization

– Hands-on LLM API integration in production (OpenAI/Anthropic/OpenRouter)

– Redis + Laravel Queues experience

– REST API design for React/Next.js frontends

– Stripe or similar payment gateway integration

– Git, code reviews, CI/CD discipline

– Strong written & spoken English (async remote team)
