Job purpose:
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee financial control activities across our subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Oman. This role is critical in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, strong internal controls, and supporting the business with insightful financial reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the full accounting cycle for Paymob’s subsidiaries in KSA and Oman.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT, ZATCA requirements, and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury activities, and financial transactions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Lead and mentor accounting team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business growth and operational excellence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
• Experience managing accounting operations across multiple legal entities.
• Strong understanding of VAT regulations and financial compliance requirements in KSA and/or Oman.
• Experience within fintech, payments, banking, or technology industries is highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
