Job Description

Production Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and update the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Prioritize production jobs based on deadlines, machine capacity, and workload.
- Adjust daily and weekly plans to address urgent orders or production delays.
- Ensure production files, plates, and materials are ready before job start.
Coordination & Workflow Management
- Coordinate closely with Sales, Prepress, Printing, Finishing, Quality, and Logistics.
- Monitor job progress and intervene to solve bottlenecks or issues.
- Communicate job requirements clearly to all relevant departments.
- Ensure smooth transition of jobs from one stage to another.
Resource & Materials Management
- Plan manpower, machines, and materials based on job requirements.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Warehouse to secure necessary raw materials (paper, inks, consumables).
- Optimize machine utilization to reduce downtime and setup waste.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor production KPIs including capacity utilization, delays, and waste.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly planning and performance reports.
- Analyze recurring issues and propose improvements for efficiency.
Team Leadership
- Lead, supervise, and develop planning team members.
- Assign tasks and follow up on team performance.
- Train junior planners on planning systems and workflow standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering preferred; Production Engineering acceptable).
- 5–10 years of experience in a similar production planning role within the offset printing industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of offset printing processes, including prepress, CTP, sheet-fed machines, and finishing operations.
- Experience using MS Excel and other office suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Strong communication, leadership, and coordination capabilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
