Job Description
. Product Strategy & Vision
- Define and communicate long-term product vision and strategy aligned with company objectives
- Develop product roadmaps that balance short-term business priorities and long-term growth opportunities
- Identify new product opportunities through market analysis, customer insights, and emerging trends
- Create business cases for new products, features, and investments
- Develop product positioning and value propositions
2. Product Portfolio Management
- Manage multiple products, categories, or product lines simultaneously
- Evaluate product portfolio performance and recommend expansion, optimization, or discontinuation
- Define pricing strategies, profitability targets, and product mix optimization
- Monitor product lifecycle stages and implement strategies accordingly
- Drive product profitability and revenue growth initiatives
3. Market Research & Customer Insights
- Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking
- Collect customer feedback and translate insights into product opportunities
- Analyze industry trends and changing customer behaviors
- Work closely with sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams to identify pain points
- Develop customer personas and segmentation strategies
4. Product Development & Execution
- Lead cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into clear product requirements documents (PRDs)
- Define product specifications, features, and priorities
- Partner with design, engineering, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams
- Ensure product launches occur within budget and timelines
- Manage risks, dependencies, and resource allocation
5. Stakeholder Management
- Build strong relationships with executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations
- Present product strategy and performance updates to senior management
- Align cross-functional teams toward common objectives
- Manage conflicting priorities across departments
6. Data Analysis & Performance Management
- Define KPIs and success metrics for products
- Monitor product performance using dashboards and reporting tools
- Analyze product adoption, revenue performance, margins, and customer satisfaction
- Use analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimization areas
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
7. Commercial Ownership
- Own revenue targets and product profitability
- Support pricing strategy development
- Partner with marketing for go-to-market strategies
- Identify monetization opportunities
- Support business development activities
8. Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and coach Product Managers and junior team members
- Promote product management best practices
- Build scalable product processes and governance
- Drive a culture of innovation and customer-centricity
