Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Wastewater & Pumping Stations
Job Location : Bahrain ,Sitra.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in wastewater treatment plants and sewerage pumping stations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, along with solid project management capabilities in maintenance and asset reliability.

Requirements

Technical Expertise:

• Strong experience with mechanical systems including:
• Aeration systems
• Mixers and screens
• Grit removal equipment
• Sludge handling systems
• Conveyors, valves, gates, and penstocks
• Odor control systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 3 years in wastewater treatment plants and sewerage pumping stations.
• Proven experience in operation, maintenance, installation, and commissioning.

Software Skills:

• AutoCAD
• Pump selection software (e.g., HOP.Sel 6.0 or equivalent)
• Microsoft Office Suite

Core Competencies:

• Strong project management and coordination skills
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Effective communication skills in English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus
• Strong understanding of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) practices
