Job Summary

TÜV NORD Egypt is seeking a highly qualified Senior Electrical Engineer Inspector to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of electrical systems within MEP projects, in accordance with project specifications, international standards, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of electrical works in MEP projects, including Low Voltage (LV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Light Current systems, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Monitor site activities and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality requirements.
• Review electrical shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
• Inspect installation, testing, and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure project compliance.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Verify compliance with local and international electrical codes and standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–9 years of experience in electrical inspection and MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of international electrical codes and standards (IEC, NEC, and related regulations).
• Experience with consultancy firms or third-party inspection organizations is preferred.
• Excellent technical, communication, and reporting skills.
• Relevant professional certifications are considered an advantage.
• Strong awareness of local and international electrical codes is essential.
